Refund policy

To be eligible for a return, your item will need to meet a certain set of criteria. Here’s what to expect when you request a return.

 At SV Motori, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience.
We always want you to be satisfied with your order and pride ourselves on our customer service. If you wish to return goods, please note our return policy below.

Returns accepted for 30 days after sale
Return Shipping is provided by the customer
Final Sales (Clearance) Items are Excluded

Shipping Charges are non-refundable

Proof of Purchase for Eligible Items

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at cs@svmotori.com.

Under no circumstance will we take back items that we did not sell. We inspect all parts upon arrival. If we receive a part that is not ours, we will charge you to ship it back or discard it. Proof of purchase is required to issue an appropriate exchange, credit or refund for eligible items, as well as any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. For your convenience, we will accept the following as proof of your purchase:

  • Original Paper Receipt
  • Gift Receipt
  • eReceipt
  • Original Packing Slip
  • Gift Packing Slip
  • Order Number


CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER AND RETURNS
You can cancel your contract before shipment, to do this, please email, write or phone us.
We will refund your money, within 30 days. If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when returning items, so you should take out appropriate insurance cover to meet their values. Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. SV Motori will not accept COD deliveries.

FAULTY GOODS
If there is a problem with the goods please contact us to discuss the matter further.
If the goods are found to be faulty within 5 days after delivery, you may reject them and claim a full refund.
If a replacement is not available, you may be able to claim part or full refund of your money.

LIABILITY
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the goods are the correct fitment or application. We cannot accept responsibility for additional charges or consequential loss incurred. Our liability is limited to the price paid for goods only.

MAKING A RETURN
Please note, failure to follow the returns procedure may cause delay in your return, exchange or refund.

We are happy to accept returned goods in the following circumstances:
a) When we have sent incorrect goods (i.e. not what you ordered as shown on your order confirmation)
b) When the goods are faulty or can be shown to be faulty within 1 month of purchase

In any of the above circumstances, we will refund the cost of all monies paid, including the cost of the postage paid for us to deliver the goods to you.
We will additionally refund the cost of return postage to us in circumstances (a) and (b) above.

However, if you are cancelling your contract with us under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you will need to return the goods to us at your expense. Postage used to send the order to the location specified at the time of order will not be refunded.
In all circumstances, we recommend that you obtain proof of delivery. If the goods are of a value exceeding postage you should obtain insurance against loss.

Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to SV Motori as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 20% restocking fee. Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with a SVMotori Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.

About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry

Using a freight forwarder to ship or hand-carrying items internationally may result in complications not covered by SV Motori.

You are responsible for export/import compliance for orders that you or your freight forwarder export/import.

If you (or your freight forwarder) purchase items from SVMotori.com to be shipped to a U.S. location, you (or your freight forwarder) are now considered the exporter for any subsequent export of the items from the United States. As the exporter, you (or your freight forwarder) are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country.

SV Motori will not act and must not be listed on any export documentation (export declarations, invoices, packing lists, air waybills, etc.) as the exporter or United States Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) for orders where you choose to use a freight forwarder to export items that were delivered to a U.S. address.

SV Motori cannot accept returns or issue refunds for lost or damaged items that you or your freight forwarder export.

SV Motori is not responsible for any damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to items after the items are delivered to you or your freight forwarder. This means that SV Motori will not provide a replacement or a refund for any lost or damaged items delivered in the U.S. and subsequently taken outside of the U.S., either by hand-carrying or using a freight forwarding service. You should refuse the delivery of items if they arrive from SVMotori damaged and instruct your freight forwarder to do the same.

Items delivered to a U.S. address, which are undamaged following their subsequent export, must be returned from the U.S.

Items that you (or your freight forwarder) export may not be returned to SV Motori from outside of the United States. International return labels will not be issued for those items. In order to use an SV Motori prepaid Return Mailing Label to return eligible items that you (or your freight forwarder) have exported, you must first return the items to a U.S. address. SV Motori will not serve as the importer or exporter for the return shipment. You (or your designated freight forwarder) will be the exporter and importer for the shipment, bear all shipping costs, and be responsible for compliance with all applicable export and import regulations, including all U.S. import regulations and the export regulations of the relevant country.

Once the eligible items are returned to a U.S. address, you may generate a Return Mailing Label from the Online Returns form which you may then use to return the items from the U.S. address to the SV Motori fulfillment center listed on the Return Mailing Label. Title and risk of loss transfer to SV Motori upon receipt of the items at the SVMotori fulfillment center listed on the Return Mailing Label.


Return Policy for International Customers

Items purchased outside of the U.S. may only be returned or exchanged within the country of purchase or sent back to the address on the return label in order for us to exchange, credit or refund your purchase.

A valid proof of purchase is required to issue an appropriate exchange, credit or refund for eligible items, as well as any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law.
