Powerful 12 V charger with 50 A 800W rated current. Specially designed for the on-board power supply support of showroom, exhibition and presentation vehicles.

This is a higher output version of the earlier 35A charger used by BMW. 
The device takes over the supply of loads in the on-board electrical system up to 50 A.

Up to 14.8 V on-board power supply voltage for lead-acid batteries and 14.0 V on-board power supply voltage lithium batteries. To keep the vehicle ready for use, it utilizes a 13.4 V maintenance charge. 

Simple operation without adjustment requirements. Plug the unit in, attach to the vehicle as specified for any charger, and you're done – just plug & play.

The charger has an aluminum housing with a short (85 mm / 3.35 in high) design. The charger fits under most vehicles and can also be operated in the vehicle interior. Absolutely silent without fans. In addition, the SL50 is suitable for all battery types.

• Voltage-free and non-sparking terminals protect against explosion hazards.
  
  
• The reverse polarity protection prevents damage or destruction of the battery or charger.
  
  
• Effective protection of the charger is provided by short-circuit protection.
  
  
• In the event of a short circuit, no replacement of a fuse is necessary.
  
  
• Charging time monitoring effectively protects against overcharging and destruction of the battery.
  
  
• Thanks to the high degree of protection, there is a reduced contamination rate in adverse conditions. This benefits the reliability of the charger.
  
  
• Overtemperature protection by means of derating (reduction of the charging current when the temperature rises above the limit).

• Charging mode: Automatic charging with IUoU characteristic curve.
  
  
• Support operation: Supply of switched on consumers in the on-board electrical system during the charging process. Supply of presentation vehicles in the showroom.
  
  
• Trickle charge: After full charge is finished, automatic switch to trickle charging. Automatic switch-back to charging and support mode as soon as a consumer is switched on in the on-board electrical system.
